Ealing Food Bank

Ealing Foodbank LogoHoly Cross Church is a collection point for donations to the Ealing Food Bank (for details of their work see ealing.foodbank.org.uk. There is a donation point in the church, but you can also help by leaving your donation at a supermarket collection point or by donating money via the Food bank website. The current month’s shopping list is shown below, or can be downloaded as a PDF.

  • Rice – we have enough pasta at the moment, thank you
  • Tinned Fish & Meat
  • UHT Milk – whole milk or semi skimmed, not skimmed please
  • Long Life Fruit Juice & Squash
  • Instant Coffee & Drinking Chocolate
  • Peanut Butter & Jam
  • Tinned Fruit & Vegetables
  • Chickpeas & Kidney Beans
  • Rice Pudding & Ready-Made Custard
  • Ketchup & Mayonnaise
  • Savoury Biscuits
  • Nappies – Size 4, 5 & 6

The advent calendar has a daily suggested donation of a long-life food item or other essential that will go straight into a family’s food parcel after the Christmas holidays. Just grab a bag or a box from your house and start filling it up as you countdown to Christmas with us.
