Morning Prayer. Most Fridays starting on 5 September at 9am in the Old Church (check THIS WEEK AT HOLY CROSS ). Join with Revd Vanessa Thornborough to celebrate the daily office of Morning Prayer using the Church of England Daily Prayer App.

The Upper Room. Thursdays from 18 September from 7pm – 8pm. A series of 7 weeks of prayer and Bible study focusing on Jesus and Prayer led by Rev Vanessa Thornborough in the Old Church. Dates of remaining sessions are 6, 13 and 20 Nov.

November 2025

Christmas Market 22 November 11am to 3pm. The much-loved Christmas Market in the New Church returns. Stalls selling goods from local craftspeople, together with stalls supporting local charities. Light refreshments available. Purchase Christmas presents and decorations. Edward Betham children sing Christmas songs at 12pm.

Walk & Talk for Women. 28 November 9.30am. Meet outside Holy Cross. A 20 minute set walk with our community police followed by tea, coffee and chat in the Legion.
