The Revd Prebendary Neil Richardson, Rector of Greenford from 1982 to 2013, died on 13th March.

Neil was actively involved in many aspects of community life, serving as a councillor on Ealing Council, and as chair of the governing boards of Edward Betham and Coston Primary schools. A gregarious person, full of enthusiasm he loved music, playing the recorder and singing, and amateur dramatics. He wrote poetry throughout his life and also enjoyed writing music.

His ministry at Greenford touched the lives of countless families over more than 30 years, and many people will have fond memories. We thank God for the gift of his life and his ministry and pray for Marion and his family in their loss.

Neil’s funeral was on 12 April 2022 at 11.30am in Little Leighs, Essex.
